CLASS CHANGES /CORRECTIONS

1. Eistein Coat will be held on February 2, 9, 23 (new dates).

2. Intermediate Knitting will begin on the 2nd Tuesday of each month NOT the 1st Tuesday

3. The Spring Jacket w/zipper will be on February 6, 13, 20. Cost is $50

4. The Lace Spring Shawl will be on March 12, 19, 26. Cost is $45


Hopefully these changes will not cause any inconvenience.

Class Descriptions and Prices

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & Prices
Some things to remember when registering for classes: class must be paid in full to hold your spot, fill out the registration form in full with phone number and email, yarn must be bought at Lace Wings for your class (you will receive a 10% discount on your class yarn), and all supplies must be bought prior to coming to class so the class can start on time. Classes are from 6:30 to 8:30 unless otherwise noted


BEGINNER - $60
The perfect class for those just getting started with their knitting or who have never had needles in their hands. We teach all technique to get you on your way. Runs 4 consecutive weeks. Taught by Deb Johnson

INTERMEDIATE - $45
Pick out a challenging project with the help of the instructor and work on it at your own pace. Try knitting socks, baby projects, small purses, felted projects, hats, etc. Runs for 3 consecutive weeks. Taught by Gail Harrison

PATTERN OF THE MONTH
7:00 – 9:00 $15 for 1st class only
Meets the 1st Thursday of the month. An ongoing class in which everyone is working on their own 4-season afghan. Learn to read patterns and learn 12 new pattern stitches. Buy your yarn as you go along. Taught by Deb Johnson

EINSTEIN COAT- $50
An excellent project for a beginner. Entire project is done in garter stitch (all knit) and all in one piece. We recommend you use the Ecological Wool for your coat. Taught by Gail Harrison

SEAMING - $35
1:00 – 3:30
A one-week class requiring homework prior to class. You will learn to sew together several different squares with different stitch patterns. Taught by Kathy Staudinger

MITERED SQUARES - $45
Learn to do this interesting design which can be used to make afghans, pursed and more.
Taught by Angela Grant

SOCKS - $45
Lean to do socks the traditional way on 4 double pointed needles. The socks will be done on size 5 needles, which is an easier size to work with when learning the technique. Taught by Kathy Olbrych

SPRING LACE SHAWL/WRAP - $45
Pick out a pattern of your choice and learn how to do lace stitches and read charts while creating an item of beauty. You will wear your lace shawl or wrap throughout the spring and summer. Taught by Mary Auger CLASS WILL BE HELD MARCH 12, 19, 27.

HATS 123 - $45
Hats can be done on Circular needles or straight needles and you will learn both techniques. Make them plain or fancy with the help of your instructor. Taught by Angela Grant

MITTENS (2-Needles)- $35
Mittens are made on 2 single point needles. Also try the 4double pointed Mitten class. Taught by Patricia Perry

MITTENS 4-Needles -$45
Do your mittens on 4-needles and avoid any seaming. Taught by Patricia Perry

SPRING JACKET W/ZIPPER - $50
This jacket will knit up quickly and you will love it for the cool Rhode Island spring. Learning how to put in a zipper will give you more versatility with your knitting.Taught by Mary Auger CLASS WILL BE HELD FEB. 6,13,20

CABLES - $25
1:00 –3:00
This class will teach you how to use a cable needle and we will start a scarf with a cable in it. Taught by Mary Auger
